Romex Junior
Cough Syrup is an
expectorant, which acts to loosen and relieve phlegm and mucus in the
chest. It can be used to relieve chesty coughs in children.

Guaifenesin
is an expectorant which acts to loosen and relieve phlegm and mucus in the
chest.
Composition
Each 5ml contains:
Guaifenesin -
50 mg
Menthol - 0.55 mg
Dosage
7
- 12 years: 10 ml, 3 times daily and at bedtime
Contra-indication
Romex Junior
Cough Syrup is contra-indicated in patients
who have manifested hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to Guaifenesin or any of the other ingredients.
Precaution
If your cough has not improved after 7 days or if you have a fever, skin
rash, continuing headache, or sore throat with the cough, check with your
doctor. These signs may mean that you have other medical problems.
Side Effects
Most
people will not have problems, but some may get some. If your child gets
any of these serious side effects, stop giving the medicine. See a doctor
at once:

Difficulty in breathing, swelling of the face, neck, tongue or throat
(severe allergic reactions).
These
other effects are less serious. If they bother your child talk to a
pharmacist:

Feeling sick, being sick, stomach discomfort
If
any side effect becomes severe, or you notice any side effect not listed
here, please
tell your pharmacist or doctor.
Storage
Romex
Junior Cough Syrup should be stored below 30°C. The
bottle should be tightly sealed at all times and direct contact with
moisture or excessive light should be avoided.

Cough Syrup is packaged in 100ml amber glass
bottles with plastic tamper-evident caps in high-quality paper packets.
